Pearl had intense fear of people and almost everything in her environment, due to her size and feeling overwhelmed all the time. After a handful of sessions with Brian, she was almost completely over her fears and I was able to continue working with her. Now she is such a great therapy dog and actually loves people playing with her.

Mango was an adult when I rescued him at the shelter. He was very reactive to other dogs on walks, and especially men that he didn’t know. Brian taught me to recognize Mango’s triggers and my own stress to help him relax. He even worked with a daycare to help Mango socialize safely with other big dogs.

Kijah was terribly aggressive on his leash toward other dogs, and would bark at men trying to pet him over the head. I knew he would be a great therapy dog, but wasn’t sure it would ever happen. Brian showed me how to show Kijah that he could be happy about other dogs. Over time we trained Kijah to be happy and not care about other dogs around him at all.

Brian started working with Mila at just 9 weeks old. She’s super playful and confident because Brian made sure we socialized her and took her out everywhere she would see new things, hear loud noises, and meet a million people. Henry is so sweet and a little ball of energy. It’s too easy to let him get away with anything because he’s so small and adorable! Brian guided us through all the basic training, specific commands we needed Henry to know, and lots of other basic food, chewing, and day-to-day communication with Henry. Brian has been our go-to for support and problem solving ever since we got Luke, our Giant Schnauzer, as a puppy. Tim is the older gentleman of the house, and getting the two of them to live together was a tough ask, and they started developing some troubling aggression issues with each other.
Brian showed us how to set up our daily routine and even how to interact with the two of them to encourage them to be nice, and look to their “parents” for support and direction.
